The Commercial Industrial Division of NAREB is forming four committees, and we want you at the table.
In commercial real estate, the biggest opportunities rarely go to whoever finds out last. They go to the professionals who are already in the room when national retailers choose their brokers, when sponsors choose their partners, and when redevelopment dollars get committed to a market.
At our September Commercial Real Estate Forum, “Finding to Funding: Let’s Get the Deal Done!” with David Wilson of The Real Estate Resource Group, Inc., we worked through cap rates, IRR, DSCR, and funding strategies that include private credit. By the end of the evening, one message was clear from our members: count me in.
So we’re making it official. The Commercial Industrial Division (CID) of NAREB is forming four committees.
Membership. Grow CID across the country by welcoming new members and connecting with local Realtist Boards.
Sponsorship. Build partnerships with the lenders, developers, and service providers who fund our forums and cohorts.
ICSC Opportunities. Put CID members in front of the national retailers, landlords, and developers who decide who represents them.
Community Redevelopment. Track opportunity zones, tax credits, and municipal incentives so our members see where development money is headed first.
Why it matters. Committee work builds the relationships, early information, and visibility that turn into referrals and closed deals. It also builds something bigger: a pipeline that opens doors for the next generation of Black commercial real estate professionals.
How to get involved. Committee seats are a benefit of paid CID and local Realtist Board membership. Sign-up takes about two minutes.
Join us at the next CID Forum on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 5:30 PM ET | 2:30 PM PT, live via Zoom.
The table is set. Which seat is yours?
